The phenomena of vocational high school (SMK) graduates choosing to work after graduation is quite common. This decision provides opportunities to gain work experience and achieve financial independence. However, limited educational qualifications may become a barrier to career development, especially in the healthcare sector, which requires continuous competency improvement and professional certification. Therefore, working while pursuing higher education is a strategic alternative to improve the competitiveness of Health Vocational School graduates. This community service activity aimed to increase the motivation of Health Vocational School students to work while pursuing higher education as an effort to develop their competencies and professional careers. The method used was a sharing session involving 39 students of Daya Utama Health Vocational School. The activity began with a survey of students' interests after graduation, followed by a motivational presentation entitled “Early Productivity: Working While Studying,” a discussion session, and a post-survey. The evaluation results showed a significant increase of 37% in students’ interest in working while pursuing higher education after receiving the motivational education. This finding indicates that the sharing session method was effective in delivering information and increasing the motivation of Health Vocational School students for future career development. It is recommended that follow-up activities be conducted, including the introduction of study programs that are relevant to the students’ educational background, Nursing and Pharmacy.
